In 1997 a comprehensive renovation of the Club was completed. In 2006 an extensive renovation was undertaken with the ASL spending more than 5 million to provide a splendid new facility and renamed the second Club 'Club Burwood'. During this process the ASL committed to discard at least 1M, however, almost trebled this amount with the aim of returning the Club to its previous eminence and triumph of a decade previous and to yield the community with a modern, aesthetically pleasing, secure and safe deposit to go for social occasions, quality affordable meals and other hospitality services and facilities. All 3 venues remain to be extremely successful and are poised for continual growth and expansion.

The food is renowned for being superb and moderately priced. The function facilities are vast with event organizers invariably maximum grateful of lofty quality food and service. Upon opening the fresh Club complicated the existing Club will be closed and the premises sold along with the adjacent Club owned properties. We ordered 2 dishes, a large bowl of wedges with chili sauce and sour cream, 2 glasses of NZ av b and the bill was less than 40. The Brasseriebistro has a good menu, vast service, good food and is ultra clean. In terms of access etc, it's got a lift from the underground vehicle park, and ample of room. The staff are really on their game and very friendly. Top notch quality immense Aussie bistro fare. However the club has an outreach site (Club Burwood) in the main shopping area. The room was decorated beautifully, food was excellent and the staff on duty from fore desk to room staff were professional, gregarious and accommodating.
